Production Associate (Weekends)

We’re a hands-on team looking for reliable people who enjoy working with their hands and seeing the results of their work every day in Mankato, Minnesota.

About the role

All team members may work in different areas of the manufacturing process. You may be trained and assigned to different production stages as business needs change.

• Pre-Fab (Laser Operator, Brake Press)
• Fabrication: Welding/Lamination
• Final Assembly

Schedule

• Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (36+ hours/week)
• Some overtime may be available on weekdays
• Shift Differential: 20%
• Paid half-hour lunch

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble products using hand tools and detailed instructions
• Read blueprints and follow measurements to ensure quality
• Support production in areas like assembly, fabrication, and finishing
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace
• Follow job tracking and quality standards to get it right the first time
• Learn materials, processes, and equipment to grow your skills
• Work as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently
• Take on additional tasks as needed to support the operation

Requirements

• 1+ year of manufacturing or hands-on work experience preferred
• Comfortable using hand tools, tape measures, and reading blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively
• Willingness to learn and cross-train
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements

The work environment is in a manufacturing facility where frequent interruptions, distractions, and moderate levels of noise occur. It requires wearing safety glasses (provided) and other required personal protective equipment.
