Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist with daily production to ensure the highest quality of production is achieved.
  • Review daily manufacturing functions and job orders to ensure awareness of requirements.
  • Ensure the safe operation of equipment.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, and quality of product.
  • Report immediately to supervisor/lead/manager any and all problems, which may affect safety, equipment, tooling, and/or quality.

Maintain Full Working Knowledge of All Processes

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Conduct himself/herself in a professional manner in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Tenacity in overcoming obstacles while maintaining productive and positive working relationships.
  • Ability to execute in a rapidly changing fast-paced environment that requires strong teamwork.
  • Understanding of all tools, gages, equipment, and other various instruments used to perform position.
  • Basic ability to understand blueprints, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.

Required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
  • Preferred previous experience in a similar manufacturing setting.

  • The employee is frequently required to reach over shoulder height with hands and arms.

  • The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and move wheeled carts up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee may be required to work with or near hazardous materials.
  • The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot components, hot air, electrical hazards, and sharp metal edges.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently uses hands to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
