About the role
This role involves providing home care services in patients' residences as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, ambulation, and basic nursing duties as instructed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with prescribed exercises, meal preparation considering dietary needs, and offer companionship.
- Perform light housekeeping and ensure high-quality care as part of a team.
- Maintain accurate records, report changes in patient condition, and complete tasks via EVV systems.
- Uphold patient confidentiality, respect patient rights, and follow the Plan of Care.
- Notify supervisors of concerns such as abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current certification with DFS.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow directions.
- Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs, bend, stand, and perform necessary tasks.
- Sympathetic attitude towards patient care.

- The role involves travel within a designated area, with no guaranteed hours or assignment length.
- Equipment used includes blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes.
