About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for weekend shifts in the Rocky Mount area, working 3 hours on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct home care services to patients in their residences, including personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, basic nursing care, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, and participating as part of a healthcare team
- Recording and reporting changes in patient condition
- Adhering to the plan of care
- Using EVV systems for documenting tasks
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
Qualifications
- Current certification
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate attitude towards patients
- Adaptability to different patient needs and environments, with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, and quality care delivery
