Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents in a residential addiction treatment setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, housekeeping, meal preparation, and teaching life skills.
- Maintain confidential client records, complete documentation, and monitor or administer medications per program policies.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations.
- Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities.
- Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
- Lead educational groups and support residents in achieving treatment goals.
- Participate in required trainings and staff meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or residential care preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driver's license preferred and must meet driving requirements.
- Willingness to complete DHS training post-hire.
