About the role
Adult Residential Support Professional in a residential addiction treatment program for adult men.
Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and serve as a positive role model for residents
- Assist with daily activities, housekeeping, meals, and life skills development
- Maintain confidential client records and complete documentation
- Administer medications and respond to emergencies or crises
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities
- Collect urine specimens and conduct breathalyzer tests as needed
- Lead educational groups and support residents’ treatment goals
- Participate in trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Preferably experienced in human services, behavioral health, or residential care
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must meet driving requirements
- Completion of DHS training may be required post-hire
