About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead highway and bridge construction projects to completion, taking ownership of the project P&L and overall success. You will maintain a strong “Safety First” mindset, manage field personnel, oversee daily activities, and build positive communication with client representatives to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and accountability for the successful delivery of heavy civil projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, owners, partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead project planning, procurement, contracting, risk management, and execution strategies.
- Oversee permitting, regulatory compliance, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and operations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while developing contingency plans.
- Deliver regular project performance updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Provide executive oversight of project safety, quality, and environmental compliance objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience, including heavy civil projects.
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, cost controls, contracts, and risk management.
- Proven experience managing EPC project execution, procurement strategies, and relationships with owners, clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of permitting, regulatory compliance, environmental requirements, and contract administration.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
