Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols to minimize accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Provide technical expertise on-site, ensuring construction activities align with engineering designs and specifications.
  • Assist in the management of technical resources and equipment, ensuring optimal usage and availability for construction tasks.
  • Address and resolve technical issues during construction, working closely with contractors to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Document technical progress and provide updates to the Project Manager, identifying potential issues early.
  • Develop personal capabilities through assessment, development planning, training, coaching, and maintaining external professional accreditation.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing education, conferences, and specialist media.
  • Communicate field updates and developments impacting business development, and provide guidance on adhering to new regulations.
