Web Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
• Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team.
• Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company.
• Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products.
• Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-time professional experience with modern web standards, technologies, and frameworks.
• Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments.
• Obsessed with building a best-in-class developer experience.
• Have a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large scope technical projects at scale.
• Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes.
