Weatherization Technician

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Install energy-saving measures including insulation, air sealing, thermostats, LED lighting, and energy-efficient appliances (refrigerators, water heaters).
• Perform a physically demanding role, which includes entering small, tight spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Maintain a clean, organized work truck and respect customers' property by promoting a professional, polite presence in their homes.
• Learn daily from BPI-certified professionals through hands-on, top-notch field training.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be comfortable working with hand tools
• Skills in carpentry, framing, some plumbing, retrofits are a plus
• Must be able to work in a high volume/high demand environment
• Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be serious about learning and willing to work hard
• Must follow all safety protocols
• Possess strong work ethic and integrity
• Passion for learning more about saving the planet and ways to improve our energy usage
