Environmental Technician

Job Description

As an Environmental Plant Worker, you will learn the safe and compliant packaging and shipping of hazardous waste. You'll learn how its handled safely, where it goes, and how we help keep these materials out of landfills and water supplies. In this role, you will separate and pack hazardous material for transport and you'll be trained to complete the required documentation in accordance with our practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Ability to follow procedures and pay attention to details
• Possess a basic knowledge of Windows-based software
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be willing and able to wear company-provided personal protection (PPE) including eye protection, face shield, Tyvek coveralls and respirator
• Must be able to pass background check within 7 years

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
