Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the wealth transfer planning process, which includes designing, analyzing, and presenting customized plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances
  • Identify issues and value-added planning opportunities for review and discussion with clients and clients’ advisors. Areas of emphasis include:
    • Estate and Wealth Transfer Planning
    • Tax planning
  • Deliver estate schematics to clients in a clear and understandable manner. Responsibilities will include meeting preparation, schematic construction, presentation of the plan to the client, meeting follow-up and ongoing client service
  • Become a subject matter expert, staying current on planning issues, communicating updates to our team, and contributing content to the Firm’s website (blog) and social media channels
  • Participate in development of new clients through individual and group efforts
  • Coach and counsel advisors on trust and estate planning strategies
  • Lead, mentor, and coach less experienced wealth planners
  • Contribute to the Firm’s strategic direction of its Wealth Planning and Trust Services offerings
  • Possess technical fiduciary knowledge in the areas of law, tax, fiduciary investing, regulation, compliance as well as estate planning
  • Summarize pertinent provisions of trust documents
  • Maintain contact with clients and advisors to discuss terms and specifications of the will and/or trust
  • Prepare for and participate in client meetings with the Advisor
  • Responsible for knowing the clients' extended family and younger generations, when appropriate, to build deep multigenerational relationships
  • Build relationships and expand referral network with centers of influence to grow connection to region and develop more referral sources
  • Act as liaison with key stakeholders - clients, advisor, attorney, accountant, and other professionals, as required

Qualifications

  • Possess 7+ years of legal, tax, or wealth management industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree & JD designation required

Pay

The pay range for this position is $114,000 - $184,800 USD per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
