DARCARS of Baltimore is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer to present, consult, and sell automotive warranty products and repair services while adhering to manufacturer maintenance schedules and company policies. Build rapport with customers to promote satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain pertinent vehicle information.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and maintenance value per manufacturer specifications.
• Generate and provide accurate repair estimates to customers.
• Establish and communicate repair completion times with customers and technicians.
• Answer incoming service calls and maintain/schedule service appointments.
• Follow post-follow-up procedures to ensure return visits, increased sales, and excellent CSI.
• Adhere to manufacturer warranty guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct business with integrity to meet Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) goals.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws regarding customer, company, and manufacturer information protection.

Requirements

• Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Strong customer service, phone, and computer skills.
• Previous automotive Service Advisor experience highly preferred.
• Minimum age of eighteen years.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background check, consumer/motor vehicle records, SSN verification).
