Full-time, rotating shifts (D/E/N), 8 & 12 hour shifts, weekends & holidays per unit policy. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

About the Role

In an inpatient setting, supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care. Supports activities at the service, nursing practice, and institutional level, contributing to goal achievement through personal action and facilitation of others. Participates in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to promoting nursing's visibility and future. Provides expert patient care, serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service. Participates in the management of human resources, development and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, and monitoring of patient outcomes. May have responsibilities at the unit, program, or service level and may assume an expanded role as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient care in a Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) or Hematology/Oncology (Heme/Onc) inpatient setting.
• Serve as a resource and consultant for patient care delivery.
• Develop and uphold standards of care and program goals/objectives.
• Engage in clinical care, coordinator activities, patient and staff education, and leadership.
• Work cohesively in a team or independently with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Coach team members toward their potential and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements

• BSN required (or currently matriculated in a BSN program).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMT or Heme/Onc nursing.
• BMT experience required; OCN certification preferred.
• Ability to develop standards of care and program goals/objectives.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.

Pay

Compensation range: $97,760.00 - $131,976.00 annually. Individual salaries will be determined based on factors including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations.
