Waterproofing Estimator II

About the role

PE-I is the entry level estimator role. The PE-I will be engaged in the entire estimating process with the responsibility of learning each step of the Chamberlin process.

Responsibilities

• Field observations and inspections
• Onscreen estimating
• Proposal writing
• Detail review
• Client interactions and association involvement
• Contract scope verification (as base knowledge develops)
• Client relationship management
• Overall project engagement from start to finish

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand construction documents
• Familiarity with general construction items
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving and dispute resolution skills
• Strong work ethic/self‑starter
• Negotiation and relationship building skills (sales ability)
• Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin
• Valid driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping, bending, lifting, etc.)

Qualifications

If applicant does not have a four‑year degree, they must have a minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.

Education required: Four‑year college degree or 2 years of college and 2 years Chamberlin experience or five years construction experience and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.
