Senior Estimator Waterproofing/Masonry

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for waterproofing and masonry projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to clarify project details and scope.
• Research and source material and labor costs to provide competitive and precise estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Aid in the preparation of bid proposals and tender documentation.
• Maintain project costs and adjust estimates as necessary to maintain budget integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and materials relevant to waterproofing and masonry.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of waterproofing and masonry construction processes and materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with construction estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accurate cost estimations and project budgeting.

Qualifications

The successful applicant should have:

• At least 5 years of experience in waterproofing and masonry construction.
• A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in construction estimating or similar fields preferred.
