Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established territory of water works customers
- Achieve sales, gross margin, and market penetration goals
- Build strong relationships with contractors, engineers, developers, and estimators
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Work closely with vendor partners to bring value-driven solutions to customers
- Stay consistently engaged with customers to anticipate needs and deliver service that stands out
- Support company initiatives, promotions, and strategic growth efforts
Requirements
- 2+ years of outside sales experience in water works, irrigation, or related industry preferred
- Proven track record of meeting sales and margin goals
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, developers, estimators, and internal teams
- Skilled in sales strategy, territory management, and CRM tools
- Comfortable using business software and technology in daily work
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to grow your territory
Qualifications
- Experience in the water works, irrigation, or related industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and business software
