Water Treatment Sales Representative

About the Role

Responsible for educating homeowners on water quality issues and providing customized water treatment solutions. This role involves in-home consultations, water testing, product demonstrations, and closing sales for systems such as water softeners, filtration, and purification equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer water quality issues and educate them about water treatment products.
• Recommend the most suitable products and systems based on customer needs, ensuring personalized and effective solutions.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers, addressing their questions and concerns professionally.
• Proactively reach out to leads, follow up on sales presentations, and convert potential customers into satisfied clients.
• Manage company-provided leads, generate new appointments through outreach, and cultivate referrals from existing clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and the competitive landscape.
• Occasionally attend trade shows, home shows, or garden shows.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Willingness to work evenings and some weekends based on customer availability.

• Sales experience (training provided for the right candidate).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong problem-solving ability to analyze customer needs and provide solutions.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize customer satisfaction.

Physical Demands

The role requires regular lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, and stretching. Employees must be able to climb in and out of a personal vehicle multiple times per day and walk up and down stairs during in-home consultations.
