About the role
The City of Monroe is now accepting applications for the position of Water Treatment Plant Operator I, II, III or Water Treatment Plant Apprentice. These positions are responsible for supporting the operation of a water treatment plant, with duties ranging from assisting in daily operations to independently managing plant functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily operations of the water treatment plant
- Independently manage plant functions as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment operations is preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Knowledge of water treatment processes
- Ability to operate water treatment equipment

Pay
