Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine system inspections, sampling, and water sing (pH, chlorine, silica, conductivity, etc.)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Support chemical treatment programs for cooling towers, closed loops, boilers, and domestic systems
- Inspect and monitor pumps, tanks, controllers, and chemical feed equipment
- Assist with Water Management Plans and general water safety assessments
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues
- Apply chemicals safely and accurately per established procedures
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety standards while in the field
- Communicate technical findings in clear, actionable terms
- Address customer concerns and coordinate internal support as needed
- Support customer retention through proactive service
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Understanding of water systems such as cooling towers, boilers, and closed loops
- Ability to apply basic chemistry and math for dosing and water quality evaluation
- Strong communication ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
- Strong written documentation skills
- Professional customer-facing presence
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Safety-focused
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Comfortable balancing fieldwork with client interaction
- Growth-minded and eager to learn
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in mechanical rooms and industrial environments
- Willingness to travel to customer sites including overnights
