Water Resources EIT/Coordinator
About the role
We are seeking a Water Resources EIT/Coordinator to join our dynamic team at HDR. This role focuses on water resources projects including flood risk reduction, levees, dam and spillway rehabilitation, flood control, channel restoration/rehabilitation, grade control structures, wetland and lake restoration, stormwater detention and conveyance, and riverine structures.
Responsibilities
- Work under project engineers on the application of various design engineering and modeling techniques in the development of water resource projects for federal, state and local municipalities
- Focus on hydraulics and hydrologic modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations
- Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualification
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
- Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Bentley ORDE
- Familiarity with H&H design software including HEC-HMS/RAS, SWMM, or other channel/conduit hydraulic analysis software
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
