About the role

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater EIT/Coordinator to join our Water Business Group at HDR. You will be responsible for creating detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection and distribution systems under instruction from the Project Engineer. Your work will involve preparing plans, writing specifications, conducting quality control reviews, and performing other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection and distribution systems under instruction from the Project Engineer
  • Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems
  • Determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection
  • Work directly with the owner
  • Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D experience
  • Bluebeam PDF software experience
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
  • Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systems
  • Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be able to work in a team environment

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard workweek.

Business Class

This role involves working on pump stations and pipelines projects.
