About the role

We are seeking a Water/Wastewater EIT/Coordinator to join our dynamic team at HDR. You will play a crucial role in shaping how communities manage water for generations to come.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed designs of water and wastewater treatment systems and collection and distribution systems under instruction from the Project Engineer
  • Prepare plans for water and wastewater systems, write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collection systems
  • Determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection
  • Work directly with the owner
  • Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field, or Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Preferred qualifications: Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D experience, Bluebeam PDF software experience, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field, experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools, Microsoft Office experience, ability to work in a team environment, attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering and water/wastewater systems
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D
  • Experience with Bluebeam PDF software
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
