Water Resources EIT/Coordinator
About the role
In the role of Water Resources Design EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
- Assist project engineers and senior engineers in water resources projects.
- Examples include: watershed assessments, water supply long-term planning, and floodplain analysis, high-level water resources studies.
- Field and desktop data collection.
- Hydrologic analysis and model development.
- One- and two-dimensional hydraulic analysis and model development.
- Prepare engineering design calculations.
- Environmental permitting support.
- Technical report development.
- Development of visual aids for client and stakeholder presentations.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
- Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Basic knowledge of industry standard software, including: Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMS
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple assignments successfully
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, standard CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
