Water Engineering Intern

Garver’s experienced Water Team is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our team in Round Rock, TX. This intern will gain real‑world experience in design while working in a fast‑paced, professional setting, supporting communities throughout the region.

Internship Description

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
• Assist with a wide array of water projects, gaining environmental and civil engineering experience.
• Receive training from experienced water staff and project managers.
• Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
• Visit Garver’s water project sites.

Garver Launch Program

• Engage daily with fellow interns and industry professionals to build your network.
• Participate in Garver’s wellness program to prioritize overall well‑being.
• Volunteer through the Garver Gives initiative.
• Collaborate with Garver’s Learning and Development team for tailored training, skills‑based courses, and professional growth.

Requirements

• Pursuing a civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET‑accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Work Environment

This is an in‑office position; duties are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to off‑site locations for work‑related tasks or meetings may be required. The description is generic; not all listed functions may be assigned.
