Water Engineering Intern
About the Role
Garver’s experienced Water Team is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our Tyler, TX office. This internship offers real-world experience in design within a fast-paced, professional setting. You’ll work alongside professionals developing solutions for water needs in communities throughout the region.
As part of the Garver Launch Program, you’ll elevate your summer experience with an immersive, hands-on intern development program that includes:

Responsibilities
- Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
- Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience by assisting with a wide array of water projects.
- Receive training from experienced water staff and project managers.
- Visit Garver’s Water project sites.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position, with duties primarily performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations for work, meetings, or related tasks may be required.
