About the role
Garver’s experienced Water Team is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join our Atlanta office. This internship offers real-world experience in design within a fast-paced, professional setting. You will work alongside professionals developing solutions for water needs in communities throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
- Gain real-world environmental and civil engineering experience by assisting with a wide array of water projects.
- Receive training from experienced water staff and project managers.
- Gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry.
- Visit Garver’s Water project sites.

Requirements
- Pursuing a civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
Work Environment
This is an in-office position; duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work, work-related tasks, or attend meetings may be required.
