Water Engineering Intern

About the role

Garver’s experienced Water Team is seeking a Water Engineering Intern to join the Greenville, SC office. The intern will gain real‑world experience in design while working in a fast‑paced, professional setting, supporting communities throughout the region with water solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside and be mentored by experienced water professionals and industry leaders.
• Assist with a wide array of water projects to gain environmental and civil engineering experience.
• Receive training from water staff and project managers.
• Visit Garver’s water project sites.
• Participate in the Garver Launch Program, an immersive hands‑on intern development experience.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Work Environment

This is an in‑office position; duties are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to off‑site locations for work‑related tasks or meetings may be required.
