About the role
The purpose of this classification is to perform maintenance work associated with installation/repair of water/sewer utility lines.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on water/sewer utility lines
- Assist in the installation of new utility lines
- Operate and maintain various pieces of construction equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or utility maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of water/sewer systems and related equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Skills
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
