Wastewater Technician

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
  • Perform daily oiling, greasing, and preventative maintenance on pumps and equipment
  • Conduct chemical testing, drawdowns, and jar tests to maintain proper treatment levels
  • Monitor pH levels, calibrate probes, and document readings
  • Inspect pumps, water flow, and chemical delivery systems while making adjustments as needed
  • Maintain water pit levels and overall wastewater system performance
  • Complete required operational logs and documentation
  • Follow all food safety, environmental, and workplace safety procedures
  • Assist with other wastewater operations and maintenance tasks as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems
  • Comfortable working around industrial equipment in wet or varying temperature environments
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays
  • At least 18 years and authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Preferred qualifications: Previous manufacturing, industrial, wastewater, or production experience, high school diploma or GED, stable work history
