5th Shift: 6 PM to 6:30 AM on Saturday/Sunday plus one weeknight assigned by supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor performance of all vial washers and component sterilizers.
- Operate equipment in these areas efficiently, safely, and consistently.
- Load glass and plastic vials onto vial washer infeed and monitor washing progress.
- Perform changeover of vial washer as required per production schedule.
- Perform tasks requested by supervision.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment (e.g., safety glasses/shoes).
- Adhere to mid-level gowning requirements.
- Follow all required SOPs, GMPs, and safety requirements during daily duties.
- Maintain good documentation practices.
- Restock production supplies.
- Ensure the batch record folder is correctly documented and all checks are performed per SOP.
- Verify and check the sterilizer cycle according to SOP standards.
- Load applicable sterilizers as necessary.
- Responsible for support equipment after the completion of the production run.
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning of the area as specified in the SOP.
- Accurately separate and label any waste.
- Work overtime as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Comprehension of basic math, reading, and basic mechanical adjustments.
- Ability to lift successive vial pans weighing approximately 20 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, and reach while palletizing vial pans weighing approximately 20 lbs.
- Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English to perform essential functions, including understanding policies, procedures, training materials, and workplace communications written in English due to our heavily regulated work environment.
Pay
Hourly range: $16.85 – $21.72. Final pay determinations depend on factors including experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
