Machine Operator - 5th Shift

About the role

As a Machine Shop Operator at Honeywell Aerospace, you will ensure machining processes run efficiently, safely, and to quality standards while optimizing production schedules. You will lead a team of technicians and collaborate across departments to meet production goals and customer requirements, directly impacting the efficiency and quality of our machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (CNC machines, lathes, milling machines) according to specifications
• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth and efficient running
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role
• 2+ years of experience with machining processes and equipment
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software

Schedule

• 5th shift role
• Mondays and Fridays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• No mandated overtime

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $33.52. Honeywell considers additional factors when extending an offer, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
