Washer Operator - 4th Shift

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment used in vial washer and component sterilizer areas efficiently, safely, and consistently.
• Loads glass and plastic vials onto vial washer infeed and monitors washing progress.
• Performs changeover of vial washer as required per production schedule.
• Performs tasks requested by supervision.
• Wears appropriate safety equipment (i.e., safety glasses/shoes).
• Adheres to mid-level gowning requirements.
• Follows all required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety requirements.
• Responsible for good documentation practices.
• Restocks production supplies.
• Verifies and checks the sterilizer cycle according to the SOP Standards.
• Loads applicable sterilizers as necessary.
• Supports equipment after the completion of the production run.
• Performs daily and weekly cleaning of the area as specified in the SOP.
• Accurately separates and labels any waste.
• Performs overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Good communication and documentation skills required.
• Comprehends basic math, reading, and basic mechanical adjustments.
• Must be able to lift successive vial pans weighing approximately 20 lbs.
• Must be able to lift, bend, and reach while palletizing vial pans weighing approximately 20 lbs.
