Job Summary

The Warranty Analyst plays a key role in managing and maintaining all warranty-related accounts, with a primary focus on Caterpillar warranty claims. This position is responsible for processing, reviewing, and submitting warranty claims in accordance with Caterpillar and internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process, review, and submit warranty claims in accordance with Caterpillar and internal guidelines
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, denied claims, and warranty issues to maximize recovery
  • Maintain accurate warranty records, documentation, and reporting systems
  • Collaborate with service, parts, and sales teams to ensure proper claim documentation and submission
  • Provide technical warranty guidance and support to internal stakeholders
  • Monitor warranty claim trends and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, manufacturer, and accounting policies
  • Communicate claim status, updates, and resolutions in a timely and professional manner
  • Aid with audits and reporting related to warranty activity

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • 3–5 years of related industry experience
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of corporate and manufacturer warranty policies, procedures, and accounting practices

Physical Requirements

  • Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
