Primary Responsibilities
- Avoid non-compliance with established internal control procedures
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner
- Operate warehouse machinery safely and report any maintenance or problems to your supervisor
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years related experience and/or technical training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, standing forklift operation, pulling order and sales orders, and experience with an ERP system
Job Requirements
- Ability to operate various styles of forklifts to meet production needs while adhering to all safety requirements
- Precise inventory control, good time management skills, and strong multitasking capabilities
- Demonstrated knowledge on operating within a general shop, material handling, and safety-focused warehouse environment
- Data entry skills
Physical/Non-Physical Requirements
- While performing the job, the employee is required to talk and hear
- The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel
- The employee is often required to stand, walk, and maneuver about the shop floor
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate
- May have to lift up to 50 lbs
