About the role

Join SPI, an industry leader in energy-efficient insulation and building materials, recognized as a “Great Place to Work.” We are hiring a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store, and distribute inventory. This role is vital to our daily operations, offering a fast-paced environment where safety and teamwork are prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, store items in an orderly and accessible manner, and inspect stock for wear or defects.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Perform physical tasks including frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for up to 12 hours to perform job-related tasks.
• Complete any other assigned duties, tasks, or responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a vehicle for company purposes.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit and compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on specific job duties.

Travel Requirements

Local travel required, less than 10%.

Pay

Compensation range: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
