About the role

BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies, advancing the world of health through transformative solutions. As a Supply Operator, you will support production by ensuring materials are readily available, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supply operators with necessary materials to maintain production as directed by Supervisor.
• Open cartons, crates, and bags to make materials readily available.
• Break down empty containers and stack them on pallets; remove to recycling area.
• Empty trash into outside containers and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Operate hand trucks or forklifts to provide materials to the production area and move materials within it.
• Requisition materials from the warehouse/label room using SAP.
• Verify accuracy of item, count, and condition for all materials received from the warehouse.
• Store incoming materials promptly after receipt.
• Perform label control to ensure accurate lot numbers, quantities, and labels are used.
• Transport finished goods to assigned areas.
• Observe all safety standards, environmental procedures, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs).
• Perform miscellaneous duties as required by the Supervisor or Lead.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of standup forklift experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Experience operating Material Handling equipment such as pallet jacks, handheld devices, order guns/scanners, etc.
• Computer literacy and SAP experience preferred.
