About the role

Cycle count, receive, identify, store, distribute, inventory, pick, pack, and ship materials, supplies, components, and equipment in the most efficient manner. Emphasis on picking and shipping experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute picking, shipping, or receiving by reading appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
• Move items to appropriate areas and record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists, and distributing them as required.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Operate warehouse machinery safely and report any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Utilize safe working habits and comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be willing to work day and night shifts.
• Computer skills required—proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Must be able to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
• Must have specific experience in turret trucks or narrow-aisle lifts.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Must be able to work in a factory environment with a large range in temperature changes.
• Must be able to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing, walking, bending/stooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Heavy stand-up and sit-down forklift experience required.
• Warehouse experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with MRP/ERP software preferred.
