Warehouseman

About the role

The Warehouseman is responsible for efficiently managing the movement and handling of materials within the plant site. This role involves operating equipment, handling inventory, maintaining production line equipment, and performing various related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials
• Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation
• Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime
• Utilizes computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials
• Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• 1 to 3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, and use units of American money and measurements for weight, volume, and distance
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Demonstrated reliable work history
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks

Pay

$45,448 annually
