Warehouseman

About the role

POS employees work across multiple locations in the POS warehouse. Duties include picking assigned orders, unloading and loading inventory trailers and deliveries, scheduled or ad hoc inventory counts, putting away products, maintaining the self-service area, and handling mailroom distribution.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and effectively with managerial staff and colleagues
• Work productively with people from diverse backgrounds
• Maintain strong attention to detail; recognize product differences and read labels accurately
• Follow directions to complete assigned tasks
• Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred
• Material handling equipment (MHE) experience preferred
• Experience in automated warehouses preferred
• Basic math and English skills, including ability to read and identify product labels, location codes, warehouse sorting labels, and customer orders

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for this role is $18 per hour. This is a union position covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
