Warehouse Worker/Cover Driver

About the role

The Warehouse Worker / Cover Driver position offers a dynamic mix of warehouse and driving responsibilities, tailored to your skillset and career aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and iconic brown package cars
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
• Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements

Requirements

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Satisfactory driving history
• Pass the DOT physical
• Pass the UPS driver test
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (License type varies by state – proof required to qualify for the position)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour.

Schedule

This position is classified as part-time, but additional hours will be available through the cover driving position.
