Warehouse Worker/Cover Driver
About the role
In this dual-role position, you will be trained to perform both warehouse and cover driver responsibilities. Your day-to-day assignment will vary based on business needs such as package volume, staffing needs, and seasonal demand.
Responsibilities
- Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and iconic brown package cars (vehicles)
- Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
- Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
- Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
- Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
- Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements
Requirements
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Satisfactory driving history
- Pass the DOT physical
- Pass the UPS driver test
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (License type varies by state – proof required to qualify for the position)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay
The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour
Schedule
This position itself is classified as part-time, but additional hours will be available through the cover driving position.
