Warehouse Team Lead Manager Support

Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
  • Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
  • Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
  • Absorb and provide necessary information, technology, and tools to employees for their job performance.
  • Aid in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
  • Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of powered industrial truck experience is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience as Team Lead is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of previous experience with a valid forklift operator's license is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Effective leadership skills are required.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required.
  • The ability to work independently and as a member of a team is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Proactivity in approaching responsibilities is required.
  • Maintaining composure under pressure is required.
  • Ability to work in a bilingual environment (for Québec locations only) is required.

Pay

Weekly Pay: $21.50 per hour.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, or until work is done.
