Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
  • Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
  • Absorb and orient new employees, providing necessary information, technology, and tools to perform their jobs.
  • Assist in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and complete and submit daily reports.
  • Propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience.
  • One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead.
  • One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience.
  • One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner.
  • One (1) year or more previous experience.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.

Qualifications

  • Valid forklift operator's license certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proactively approaches responsibilities.
  • Maintains composure under pressure.
  • Working using health and safety methods.
  • Bilingual (For Québec locations only).

Pay

  • Weekly Pay: $22.00 per hour.
  • Overtime Pay: $33.00 per hour.
  • Additional Pay: $1.00 premium per hour.

Schedule

  • Third Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:00am.
