Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to team members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
  • Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using appropriate leadership styles and methods.
  • Absorb and provide necessary information, technology, and tools to employees for their job performance.
  • Assist in promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
  • Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience.
  • One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead.
  • One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience.
  • One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner.
  • One (1) year or more previous experience with cycle counting.
  • One (1) year or more previous experience with forklift operation.
  • One (1) year or more previous experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Valid forklift operator's license certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership skills.
  • Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Maintains composure under pressure.
  • Working using health and safety methods.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual (For Québec locations only).
  • Advanced knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner.

Pay

  • Hourly Pay: $26.50 per hour.
  • Overtime Pay: $39.75 per hour.

Schedule

  • 4 days a week, 10 hour shift.
  • Sunday-Wednesday 4:30am-4:00pm.
