Warehouse Supervisor - Nights
About the role
We are in search of a Night Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center. This position directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse and transportation operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shift
- Responsible for routing for the next day’s delivery tickets
- Responsible for ensuring shift is pulling and loading items for the next day delivery
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance to Warehouse Manager
- Determines staffing levels and assign workload
- Additional duties or special projects as assigned
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse/distributions or related experience required
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Must be able to operate various pieces of equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucks
- Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop, and balance frequently
