Responsibilities

• Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members
• Supervise the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring adherence to safety operating procedures
• Schedule warehouse team members to meet facility demands
• Allocate necessary space for stock rotation
• Assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels and product loss control
• Oversee shipping and receiving functions
• Secure company assets
• Manage within labor and OPEX budget
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2-4 years of warehouse/inventory experience required
• 2-4 years of supervising warehouse staff required
• Experience managing a budget required
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office programs
• Proficient with SAP or similar MRP programs
• Able to lead front-line employees effectively—may be in a unionized environment
• Able to handle conflict
• Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack required
• Ability to lift product (up to 50 lb) frequently and repetitively required
