Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Supervisor under the supervision of the Parts Manager is responsible for all warehouse functions including inventory movement, ordering, processing, shipping, and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Maintains effective warehouse performance and maintains inventory control of parts including monitoring cycle counts, accuracy of orders picked and shipped, proper placement of parts into inventory and warehouse equipment.
• Maintains warehouse standards including warehouse layout, inventory placement and warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinates and schedules location delivery vehicle maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Oversees the shipping and receiving functions at all locations.
• Oversees dispatcher or dispatching at the location.
• Hires and maintains staff of qualified warehouse and delivery driver personnel.
• May provide maintenance of warehouse facility.
• Supervises all warehouse and delivery driver personnel including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related experience and/or training.
