Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and lead hourly employees to ensure the efficient and cost-effective operation
• Maintain strong adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements
• Provide a safe, organized and clean facility
• Ensure cross-training of all warehouse personnel
• Focus on continuous improvement and make recommendations to improve operations in areas such as safety, process flow, space utilization/layout, inventory accuracy and value-added services
• Manage inventory control activities with emphasis on space utilization and monthly cycle count expectations
• Acting warehouse coordinator and responsible for scheduling inbound & outbound shipments, receiving and shipping documents, ERP system entry, reporting, process returns, sales and customer service inquiries and other duties as assigned
• Deal effectively across all levels of the organization; solve problems between warehouse and other departments
• Collaborate and share decision making process with team
• Assure adequate resources are available to meet food safety objectives
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff members while carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

Requirements

• High School diploma minimum, some college or technical school preferred
• Minimum 3 years related warehouse management/supervisory experience
• Microsoft Office with emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience with ERP or WMS systems
• SQF experience preferred

Pay

The base pay range for this role is $60,000 – $70,000 per year.
