About the role
Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. This role is located at our Waukesha, WI facility. The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the material handling process from receipt to consumption in the plant.
- Supervise the material handling and interplant transportation teams.
- Lead physical inventory preparation/execution.
- Manage the warehouse.
- Drive continuous improvement within the department by improving inventory accuracy, establishing and maintaining operator standard work, implementing visual controls, and establishing a 5S process.
- Support the management and disposition of E&O materials.
- Lead the Material Handling, Receiving, and Warehouse Operations teams by managing staffing, scheduling, performance, hiring, daily manpower planning, warehouse organization, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, material delivery, and third-party warehousing as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement across material flow and inventory processes by reducing receipt-to-stock lead times, establishing standard work, implementing visual management and process controls, maintaining 5S standards, and leveraging tier meetings to align priorities and engage employees.
- Manage inventory control and physical inventory activities by leading the annual physical inventory process, analyzing inventory discrepancies, driving corrective actions, improving transactional discipline, and supporting excess and obsolete (E&O) material reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Three (3) years of Production Supervisor or Team Lead experience in a manufacturing environment. Two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain. One to two (1-2) years of experience using SAP.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business field from an accredited university. SAP experience related to IM and WM inventory management. Experience in supervising hourly reports. CPIM Certification. Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules. Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, Kanban. Proven analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills. Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of institutional problem-solving tools/processes such as cycle time reduction and process improvement tools: Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, Kaizen, DOE, Pareto Charts, Statistical process control, Process mapping, Tree diagrams, Root cause analysis, Analytical software programs.
